




Position Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant with experience in journal entry posting, invoice recording, and document organization, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Emphasis on accuracy and document organization **Main Responsibilities** * **Journal Entry Posting:** Enter accounting entries (revenue, expense, and general journal entries) into the system based on source documentation (invoices, receipts, credit notes, etc.). * **Invoice Recording:** Capture and verify supplier and customer invoice information. * **Document Organization:** Classify, arrange, and archive all financial vouchers and accounting documents physically and/or digitally. * **Database Management:** Populate, maintain, and update databases or specialized *software* with financial information. * **Preliminary Review:** Verify that documentation complies with tax and accounting requirements prior to recording. * **Basic Reconciliation:** Assist in verifying balances or simple transactions between documents and system records. **Technical Skills and Tools** * **Accounting Software:** Experience using accounting systems and ERP platforms (e.g., Contpaqi, Aspel, SAP, or similar). * **Excel Proficiency:** Intermediate to advanced level for data entry, organization, and validation of large volumes of data. * **Speed and Accuracy:** High dexterity and efficiency in data entry with a **minimum error margin**. * **Equipment Handling:** Ability to operate scanners, printers, and document management software. **Education and Knowledge** * **Education Level:** Technical degree in Accounting, Administration, or related field. * **Accounting Knowledge:** Basic understanding of journal entry structure, distinction between revenues and expenses, and account types. * **Tax Knowledge:** Fundamental awareness of valid documentation and tax requirements (e.g., electronic invoice requirements). **Personal Competencies (Soft Skills)** * **Attention to Detail:** The most critical skill, as an entry error can impact the entire accounting record. * **Organization:** Highly methodical and orderly approach to handling and classifying large volumes of documents. * **Responsibility and Commitment:** Ensure all documents are entered within established deadlines. * **Confidentiality:** Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity.
