This role is essential to ensure the **integrity and efficiency of investment operations**, acting as the operational bridge between *Front Office* decisions (portfolio management) and *Back Office* administrative execution (settlement and custody). This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain deep knowledge of the financial transaction lifecycle and operational risk management. Key Responsibilities * **Manage and validate the lifecycle of investment operations**, including fixed income, equities, and derivatives. * Ensure **accurate execution and settlement of transactions**, verifying term matching (confirmations) with *Front Office* and custodians. * Identify, investigate, and resolve settlement failures (*settlement failures*) in coordination with the *Back Office*. * Act as a **key liaison between Front Office desks** (Traders/Portfolio Managers) **and Back Office teams** and custodians. * **Resolve operational discrepancies** promptly, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing impact on portfolio valuation. * **Perform daily monitoring of investment portfolios**, ensuring positions accurately reflect executed transactions. * Conduct **daily/monthly reconciliation of positions, valuations, and cash flows** (dividends, interest, principal payments) against custodian records. * Generate control reports for verification of investment master data. Essential Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in **Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering**, or related field. * 1\-3 years of experience in a similar role. * **Genuine interest** in capital markets and asset management operations. * Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**. * Programming (R, Python) * Intermediate/advanced technical English proficiency. Skills and Competencies: * **Rigorous attention to detail:** Critical ability to detect errors in large volumes of transactional data. * **Communication skills:** Ability to interact clearly and professionally with different departments (Front and Back Office). * **Organization and Time Management:** Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet settlement *deadlines*. * **Problem Solving:** Analytical approach to investigate and resolve complex discrepancies.
