Job Summary: We are seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, evaluate, and deploy AI agents on GCP, combining software engineering and cloud architecture. Key Highlights: 1. Collaborate with product, data, architecture, and platform teams We are looking for an AI Engineer with experience in developing AI solutions, automation, and deploying agents in cloud environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing, building, evaluating, and deploying AI agents on GCP using tools such as Agent Registry, Google ADK, Vertex AI/Gemini services, and CI/CD pipelines. This role combines software engineering, cloud architecture, API integration, deployment automation, and best practices for governance of production-grade agents. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and deploy AI agents on GCP. * Work with tools such as Google ADK, Agent Registry, Vertex AI, and Gemini. * Implement agents based on tools, APIs, prompts, memory, business rules, and conversational flows. * Version critical agent artifacts: prompts, tools, configurations, contracts, evaluations, and metadata. * Integrate agents with internal APIs, databases, cloud services, and enterprise platforms. * Define and implement security, observability, traceability, and governance best practices. * Build agent evaluation mechanisms: functional testing, prompt regression, quality assessment, usage metrics, and cost tracking. * Collaborate with product, data, architecture, and platform teams to transform use cases into deployable solutions. * Document technical decisions, integration contracts, and reusable patterns for other teams. Technical Requirements * Strong experience with Python. * Experience developing integrations with REST APIs. * Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially GCP. * Practical experience or knowledge of Vertex AI, Gemini, Agent Registry, or agent frameworks. * Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, branching strategy, and versioning. * Familiarity with containers, Docker, and cloud-native deployments. * Understanding of cloud application security best practices. * Ability to design modular, maintainable, and observable solutions. * Experience working in agile teams. Desirable * Experience with Google ADK / Agent Development Kit, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks. * Knowledge of MCP, tool calling, function calling, or multi-agent architectures. * Experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Build, or Artifact Registry. * Experience in model evaluation, prompt engineering, and LLM observability. * Knowledge of governance patterns for production-grade agents. * Experience designing hybrid GCP/Azure architectures. * Knowledge of authentication, IAM, service accounts, secrets management, and access control.
