Dream big and create the future of mobility at Magna Powertrain.**Job Responsibilities:** **Position Objective**: Coordinate prototype construction according to Customer requirements / Coordinate teardown analysis of returned customer units. **Requirements:** Advanced English. Minimum 2 years in similar positions. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. **Specific Knowledge:** Product knowledge, GD\&T, problem solving, quality systems. Knowledge of productive SAP / PLM, BOM review, drawings, CRs, Cos, DDRs. Knowledge of manufacturing processes—machining, assembly. English–Spanish communication skills. **Responsibilities:** * Track prototype sample acquisition during Mule, OTS, and OPS phases. * Coordinate storage and inspection of samples across laboratories + inventory control. * Develop prototype construction plans, verifying production line availability and collaborating with cross-functional teams; track progress per APQP. * Coordinate verification and final inspection plans for prototype units. * Schedule outbound shipments or pickups, coordinate logistics for prototype materials. * Document prototype construction at each phase, generate visual aids, work instructions, packaging validations, obtain verification reports and quality certificates. * Coordinate daily activities with prototype technicians during assigned shifts. * Coordinate teardown analysis activities, functional testing, disassembly, component analysis. * Generate teardown reports for customers. * Capable of moderating meetings with customers/suppliers. **Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:** ---------------------------------- At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
