HSE Resident – High Voltage Project
Position Summary: Ensure compliance with HSE standards in High Voltage projects, prevent risks, and safeguard personnel, equipment, and facilities. Key Highlights: 1. Key role in safety supervision for High Voltage projects. 2. Implementation and monitoring of the project’s HSE Plan. 3. Incident investigation and development of action plans. **Position Objective** Ensure compliance with **Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE)** standards during the execution of **High Voltage** projects, preventing accidents, environmental incidents, and electrical hazards, while safeguarding personnel, equipment, and facilities in accordance with applicable legislation and client standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Implement and monitor the project’s **HSE Plan**. * Identify hazards and assess risks (IPER, AST, JSA). * Supervise critical work activities: * Electrical work on HV/MV systems * Work at height * Lifting and rigging operations * Excavations * Ensure correct application of **LOTO procedures** and electrical isolation practices. * Verify use and condition of **dielectric and specialized PPE**. * Conduct daily safety inspections on site. * Deliver and document **safety toolbox talks** and training sessions. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports. * Record and investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses. * Conduct root cause analysis and develop action plans. * Monitor HSE statistics and key performance indicators (IF, IS, HH). * Maintain up-to-date legal and regulatory documentation. **Position Requirements** * Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. * **3 to 5 years** of experience as an HSE professional in construction projects. * **Mandatory:** Experience in **High Voltage** (transmission lines and/or substations). **Technical Knowledge** * Electrical safety regulations (NFPA 70E, OSHA, local standards). * ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems. * LOTO procedures and HV work practices. * Risk assessment methodologies (IPER, AST, JSA). * Emergency response and first aid. * Current labor and environmental legislation.
