Calculates First Pass Yield, Recognizes and helps solve yield-decreasing problems, implements and drives internal corrective actions. * Carries out experimentation, process capability studies, or other technical evaluations to improve yield and quality. * Helps QE or SQE collect related data and follow up on corrective actions. * Ensures production information is communicated consistently and effectively throughout the line and from shift to shift. This communication might include inspection instructions, production scheduling, and other specific instructions. * Participates in purges and MRB meetings to ensure proper disposition of discrepant material. * Guides and helps Quality Technicians draft proper visual aids for inspection. Collects data of key dimensions for SPC analysis and ensures that the capability of these dimensions is available for Manufacturing. * Ensures the process being performed complies with the Deviation Authorization. Follows up on changes to the effective and expiry dates. * Participates with team members in implementation and follows up on the estimated effective date and commitments from workcell members. * May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **JOB QUALIFICATIONS** **KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS** * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. * Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows-based operating system and related software. * Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages. * Ability to write simple correspondence.
