**Role Description** We are looking for a **Data Scientist with a strong focus on Machine Learning and Applied AI** to power the intelligence behind Visionarys’ AI agents. At Visionarys, we are building AI agents that can hold real conversations, understand context, and take real actions within business workflows. This role is responsible for designing and improving the models that enable those agents to interpret language, extract meaning, decide when to act, and continuously improve over time. This is a highly applied role. You will work closely with software engineers and product teams to ship ML systems into production, not just develop models in isolation. Your work will directly impact how our automation platforms reason, respond, and operate in real\-world environments. This role complements our engineering and product teams by transforming data and models into deployable intelligenceembedded across our systems. This is a remote role, with Mexico\-based candidates encouraged to apply. **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and iterate machine learning models that power conversational and action\-oriented AI agents. * Improve how AI systems understand context, extract entities, classify intent, and decide when and how to act. * Build and refine ML pipelines that support real\-time and near\-real\-time AI workflows. * Collaborate closely with software engineers to integrate models into production systems. * Translate product and business requirements into applied ML solutions. * Experiment with model architectures, prompt strategies, and evaluation techniques to improve performance and reliability. * Contribute to improving scalability, robustness, and explainability of ML systems in production. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field or equivalent practical experience. * Strong proficiency in Python and common ML / data science libraries. * Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit\-learn, or similar). * Experience or strong interest in LLMs and conversational AI systems (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar). * Familiarity with NLP concepts such as intent classification, entity extraction, and context handling. * Experience shipping ML models to production or integrating models into real applications (preferred). * Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. * Builder mindset, curiosity, and comfort working in evolving, fast\-paced environments. **What We Offer** * Production ML systems powering real conversational AI agents. * Opportunity to ship models into production and influence system design. * Hands\-on work with LLMs and applied AI in real\-world use cases. * Flexible, remote\-first work environment. * Professional growth as Visionarys scales its AI platform.
