*This job posting comes from the Talenteca.com job board* ### **Job opening at Ideas Mobiliarium in Valle de Chalco Solidaridad, State of Mexico** At **Ideas Mobiliarium**, a Mexican company specialized in furniture design and manufacturing, we are looking for an **Engineering Manager** with technical vision, leadership skills, and a focus on continuous improvement. ### **What will be your objective?** Lead the engineering department to ensure proper planning, design, documentation, and technical support in furniture manufacturing. You will be responsible for coordinating with production, procurement, and quality teams to optimize materials, guarantee technical feasibility, and ensure successful execution of each project. ### **Essential Requirements:** * Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Design, or related field (certified degree or completed studies) * Minimum **2 years of experience** in furniture companies, fine woodworking, or manufacturing of wood and metal products * Experience leading engineering or product development teams * Advanced proficiency in: + **SolidWorks** (modeling, drawings, assemblies) + **Rhinoceros (Rhino)** + **AutoCAD 2D** * Knowledge of material and cutting process optimization * Ability to collaborate with plant operations and provide technical support during production ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Lead and coordinate the engineering and technical design team * Supervise and validate material lists, construction drawings, and technical documentation * Review and approve designs for manufacturing, ensuring feasibility and efficiency * Support plant operations: assembly, fabrication, adjustments, and technical validations * Implement improvements in existing products, processes, and materials * Ensure effective communication with production, procurement, and quality departments ### **We offer:** * **Monthly base salary:** $15,000 to $18,000 gross (depending on experience and skills) * **Statutory benefits:** IMSS, vacation, Christmas bonus, etc. * **Savings fund** * Job stability and opportunities for professional growth ### **Work location:** Sta.
