




**Position Objective:** Responsible for engineering development, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), documentation, reviewing control schemes, calculations, design, and material lists within the Process area. **Responsibilities:** Perform calculations, studies, reports, planning, or other similar tasks in engineering projects. Develop visualization and conceptualization of plants in new projects by studying preliminary mass and energy balances before proceeding to basic and detailed engineering. Prepare drawings (PFD, P&ID), documents (process equipment descriptions and lists, among others), and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives. Prepare essential discipline documents: process schematics, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), mass and energy balances, process descriptions, equipment/instrument/valve lists, equipment data sheets, etc. Create Balance Diagrams for Industrial Services systems such as Steam and Condensate Generation, Boiler Water and Chemical Treatment, Cooling Water, Refrigeration Systems, Seal and Lubricant Oil Systems, Plant and Instrument Air Compressors and Dryers, Main and Auxiliary Power Generation, Inert Gas Generators, Fire Protection Systems, Hot Oil Systems, among others. Prepare effluent diagrams (liquids, gases, and solids). Ensure compliance with design standards to guarantee that facilities are safe and environmentally sound. Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines by providing basic process parameters, preliminary specifications of required equipment, and necessary utility requirements for the facilities. Participate in operational risk assessments (HAZOP) of the facilities. Calculate process parameters and functions of the programmable logic controller (PLC, Programmable Logic Controller). **Education:** Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Experience: At least 7 years in conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering projects across various sectors including Industrial, Manufacturing, Mining, Oil\&Gas, etc. **Software:** Design and data analysis software. AutoCAD. MATLAB. SOLIDWORKS. Process simulation: Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS. **Knowledge:** Process risk analysis methodology (HAZOP, Hazard and Operability Study). Process Flow Diagram (PFD).
