We are a Spanish Sports Club with over 100 years of experience, located in the southern part of CDMX, Coyoacán Borough, and are currently seeking: Librarian/Library Assistant
**Work Location: Near Estadio Azteca / Registro Federal Light Rail Station.**
**Schedule: Fixed shift. Workdays are Tuesday through Sunday, mid-shift hours.**

**REQUIREMENTS:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Library and Information Studies, or related field.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in libraries, user service and guidance, technical support, information management, etc.
* Organizational skills, user-oriented attitude, and basic document conservation knowledge.
* Proficiency in database management, digital catalogs, Excel, Word, email, and online platforms.
* Knowledge of cataloging, coding, weeding, classification, and recordkeeping.
* Preferably residing in the southern or central area of CDMX.
* Responsible, punctual individual with strong teamwork orientation.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Maintain up-to-date inventory of books, magazines, and digital resources.
* Register, classify, label, and safeguard the library’s bibliographic and didactic collection.
* Manage loans, returns, renewals, and penalties per established regulations.
* Prepare reports on library usage, inventories, and acquisition needs.
* Provide service to members (children, parents, visitors, etc.).
* Supervise order, preservation, and appropriate conditions within the library space.
* Identify damaged or obsolete materials and propose replacement actions.
* Arrange bibliographic materials on shelves.
