SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Position Summary: Provide in-store operational support for sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service to achieve AutoZone's operational and commercial metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service. 2. Provide customer service by clarifying questions and facilitating sales. 3. Provide floor-level operational support in stores by executing AutoZone's established operational processes related to sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service—collaborating effectively to meet assigned store's operational and commercial metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in trucks, following applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper fronting and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks as well as sales-floor cleaning activities to ensure correct product placement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by clarifying questions regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing—delivering excellent service reflected in counter sales closures—and handle customer phone calls to address inquiries about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions using cash or credit cards, and process returns in compliance with AutoZone's point-of-sale payment policies to ensure effective payment processing and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma or equivalent completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
