Support in commercial pricing strategies DORADOS CONVENTIONS \& RESORT IS SEEKING OPERATIONAL CONTROLLER (FINANCIAL FOCUS / STRATEGIC CONTROL) **Job Objective:** To plan, control, and analyze the hotel’s financial and operational information to ensure profitability, sustainability, and data-based strategic decision-making. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop, monitor, and track the annual budget. * Analyze profitability by business unit (rooms, food & beverage, events, recreation). * Control operational costs and expenses. * Implement costing models (per event, per guest, per service). * Monitor revenues versus projections. * Identify financial variances and propose corrective strategies. * Supervise inventories from a financial perspective. * Generate executive reports for management. * Support commercial planning in pricing strategies. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Operating margin * Cost per occupied room * Cost per diner * EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) * Budget variance * Event profitability **Required Profile:** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. * Experience in financial controller roles (ideally in hospitality or services). * Proficiency in financial and budgetary analysis. * Advanced Excel or ERP system skills. * Strategic thinking and results-oriented mindset.
