Fuel your passion **To succeed and be considered for our internship program, you need to:** * Be **currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program in any discipline**. * Have **intermediate to advanced English proficiency**. * Be available to intern for a period of **1 year**. * Hold legal authorization to intern in the country where the position is offered. **Selection Process Timeline** Our Internship Program operates on hiring cycles, and you will participate in the July cycle. Therefore, the selection process will take place from: April to June. After submitting your application, the recruitment team will review resumes. If your profile is selected, you will advance to the **Digital Interview** stage. Subsequently, interviews will be evaluated, and if you progress further, you will be invited to an interview with the area’s management. Below, you’ll find more details about the: **Field Engineering** The Field Engineering intern will have varied opportunities to explore and apply knowledge according to the assigned area. Potential areas of operation at Baker Hughes include: **Engineering** The intern will provide administrative support to product line coordinators. The primary objective is to understand the processes required to execute activities without rework, assist in inventory control, measurements, supplies, and general documentation, as well as understand, monitor, and update the area’s KPIs. This includes interaction with other internal departments and use of internal systems. **Operations** Focus will be on supporting operations management, fulfillment, and field team support. The scope of our service contracts includes supplying specialized labor for installation, technical assistance, and maintenance of equipment located on offshore oil platforms. **Laboratory** The Mechanical Engineering intern will collaborate with Baker Hughes to ensure flawless execution by maintaining laboratory testing equipment for drilling and well-completion fluids, as well as supporting current and future operations. **Technical Support** Activities related to technical support for Product Line operations, participation in technical and development projects with customers, and interaction with the Product Line and Laboratory. **Maintenance** The intern will participate in the maintenance area, supporting technicians per the work schedule. The desired profile allows gradual development across system components such as inspection, maintenance, testing, cleaning, preservation, and control.
