Material research and prototype development A company dedicated to manufacturing truck bed liners and floor mats is looking for a **PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER**—don’t miss the opportunity to grow within a solid and stable organization. **OBJECTIVE:** Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a product throughout its lifecycle. **REQUIREMENTS** * Industrial Engineering, Product Development Engineering, Process Development Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering * Experience in the metal-mechanical industry * Experience in new product development and manufacturing processes * Proficiency in design software * Knowledge of materials and raw materials **RESPONSIBILITIES** · Developing products from scratch · Developing display units · Product design (creating and improving products from conception to final design, while meeting customer expectations and market trends) · Manufacturing supervision (coordinating with production teams to ensure products are manufactured according to specifications and within the established budget) · Testing and evaluation (ensuring products are safe and functional prior to market launch) · Market analysis (assessing market trends and customer needs to inform new product development) · Interdisciplinary collaboration: Working closely with designers and engineers to ensure the final product meets business objectives and customer expectations. * Developing prototypes for new products * Researching materials and components * Compiling statistics on material usage and waste * Attaching a portfolio of work **WE OFFER:** * Weekly salary plus food vouchers * Statutory benefits and enhanced benefits starting from the sixth month * Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; weekends off Location: Tlaquepaque, Jal., one block from Periférico Position Type: Full-time, indefinite-term contract Salary: $21,000.00 \- $23,000.00 per month Benefits: * Educational support * Company parking * Option for an indefinite-term contract * Complimentary uniforms * Food vouchers Workplace: On-site employment
