Operational Area Mechanical Assistant Responsibilities * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance services on both light and heavy equipment according to the maintenance program issued by the Transportation Department. * Assign transportation unit requests. * Confirm to the requester the availability of the required units and/or the scheduling of orders. * Notify the requester that the transportation provider fulfills the cargo appointment on time and as scheduled. * Confirm general route details to the transportation provider via email. * Generate a transportation assignment report, included in the cargo summary for each account. * **Vehicle types:** Sedan, 1.5 T, 3.5 T, Rabón, Torton, 48- and/or 53-foot box trucks, double articulated vehicles.
