DE C.V. in Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City** **Civil Specialty Head** Argón is an engineering and consulting firm founded in 2019 by a group of engineers with an entrepreneurial vision. We design comprehensive solutions for real estate, industrial, and commercial projects, aligning engineering with efficient, sustainable, and timely execution. We are seeking a **Civil Specialty Head** with experience in structural design and coordination of building and industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for leading structural engineering development, concrete and steel calculations, ensuring compliance with regulations, quality standards, and established timelines. * Coordinate the design, analysis, and calculation of concrete and steel structures, ensuring structural safety and construction efficiency. * Lead the development of construction documents and schematic engineering, defining design criteria, zoning, and preliminary sizing. * Design foundation systems (shallow and deep) in accordance with national and international codes. * Coordinate with the BIM department from the project’s inception per the **BEP (BIM Execution Plan)**. * Supervise the preparation of structural drawings, calculation reports, technical specifications, and three-dimensional models. * Lead planning, monitoring, and adherence to schedules, timelines, costs, and quality. * Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure interdisciplinary integration and anticipate interferences. * Specify and supervise project-level quality controls. * Lead technical teams, distribute workloads, and mentor engineering personnel. * Participate in client meetings, prepare reports, and address technical requirements. **Requirements:** * Education: **Civil Engineering degree (degree certificate and professional license required); specialization or master’s degree in structures preferred** * Experience: **Minimum 7 years** in structural design, engineering coordination, or technical leadership. * Desirable: Diploma or certification in structures, BIM, or project management. * Technical knowledge: * + Software: **AutoCAD, Revit, Construction Cloud.** + Foundation, steel, and concrete structural design. + Structural analysis for wind and seismic loads (**RC\-CDMX 2017, CFE 2008**). + Three-dimensional modeling and review of structural drawings. + Applicable national and international standards. * Advanced English proficiency. * Valid driver’s license. * Willingness to travel or relocate. * Interest in innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement. **We offer:** * Competitive salary of $35,000\.00 to $40,000\.00 MXN gross per month. * Per diem allowance up to $10,000 (for out-of-town candidates only) * Statutory benefits * Minor medical expense insurance * Life insurance * Job stability * Ongoing training * Participation in high-impact projects * Positive work environment and professional development **Desired education level:** Higher education \- degree holder **Desired experience level:** Expert level **Departmental function:** Architecture **Industry:** Civil Engineering **Skills:** * Civil engineering * Architecture * Design * Construction *This job posting comes from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=68fa3b6b510000370040f832\&source\=indeed*
