A company powered by our people.** Job Purpose: The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing warehouse operations in the consumer sector, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality across all logistics processes. The primary objective is to ensure operations comply with DHL Supply Chain standards, maximizing customer satisfaction and business profitability. Key Responsibilities: * **Operations Management:** + Plan, coordinate, and supervise all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, and distribution. + Implement and improve operational processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. * **Leadership and People Management:** + Lead and motivate the workforce, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment. + Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous training to employees. + Promote collaboration and teamwork. * **Customer Service:** + Negotiate and manage relationships, acting as the primary point of contact. + Listen to and understand customer needs and expectations to ensure personalized and satisfactory service. + Ensure all warehouse operations meet established service level agreements (SLAs), including response times, order accuracy, and inventory levels. + Maintain open and honest communication, ensuring customers feel informed and valued. * **Inventory Control:** + Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring record accuracy and product availability. + Develop strategies for inventory turnover and loss minimization. * **Regulatory Compliance:** + Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all warehouse operations. + Keep standard operating procedures up to date. * **Financial Compliance:** + Budget management + Cost control + Profitability analysis * **Planning and Strategy:** + Analyze performance data and generate reports on operational efficiency, costs, and service levels. + Propose improvements based on data analysis and market trends. + Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency. + Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). + Analyze and improve receiving, storage, and distribution processes. + Implement continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). + Ensure adherence to quality and efficiency standards. * **Supplier and Internal Customer Relations:** + Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations, aligning warehouse activities with customer requirements and corporate business strategies.
