Covia is seeking a **Laboratory Analyst** who will make a positive impact on the local **Operations** team located in **Lampazos de Naranjo, Nuevo León, Mexico**. In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform physical and chemical analyses based on established procedures and the Laboratory Techniques Manual to provide the company with reliable, accurate, and timely technical information regarding raw materials, in-process products, and finished products for decision-making. **The selected candidate for this position will have the following key responsibilities:** * Receive and prepare samples to conduct relevant analyses. * Perform physical and chemical analyses on samples from production processes and deliver analysis results to requesting departments. * Enter analysis results into INNAUS to generate reports for T.A.S., drying, magnetic separation, fine grinding, and bagging analyses. * Generate inventory sheets for yards and silos to inform Production and Shipping departments about the quality and quantity of by-products and finished products. * Issue quality certificates for delivery to customers. * Store and manage retention samples from various departments to serve as references and/or for future consultation. * Determine product conformance status at each process stage per the Material Integrity Procedure to define final disposition. * Archive quality control records per Policy GD\-36 and Process Instruction to ensure integrity and appropriate use of relevant records. **The selected candidate for this position must meet the following qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field * Minimum 1 year of experience conducting laboratory sample analyses in industrial settings * Proactive and dynamic attitude **Benefits:** * Benefits exceeding Mexican legal requirements * Performance bonus * Additional social security benefits IND2
