Preparation of dishes following established standards **Job Description:** A restaurant in Polanco is looking for Cooks/Chefs with initiative, passion for cooking, and commitment to quality. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Prepare menu items following recipes and established standards. * Ensure proper cooking, presentation, and timely dish delivery. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization at their station. * Assist with receiving and storing supplies. * Comply with food hygiene and safety regulations. * Coordinate with the rest of the team to ensure smooth service. * Report incidents or shortages to the chef or kitchen supervisor. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience and personnel management experience. * Knowledge of basic international cooking techniques and breakfast preparation. * Hygienic food handling (completion of a current food safety course is desirable). * Ability to work under pressure and meet service time requirements. * Service-oriented attitude, respect, and teamwork skills. * Familiarity with kitchen equipment (griddle, oven, fryer, etc.) is desirable.
