




Job Summary: We are seeking an import specialist to manage international orders, oversee logistics, and ensure customs compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Essential experience in import management 2. Proficiency in English and customs terminology 3. Strong sense of organization and planning **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Place international purchase orders and track them until warehouse receipt * Identify new logistics providers (shipping lines and freight forwarders) and compare rates * Supervise physical inventory counts upon product arrival * Monitor order transit, coordinate with shipping lines / carriers and customs agents * Report defective products to suppliers * Prepare customs letters * Perform administrative tasks **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or International Business (degree preferred) * Written English proficiency at 80%, with mandatory ability to communicate via telephone or Zoom * Minimum 2 years of verifiable and essential experience in import management, preferably for food products, covering both maritime and land customs procedures * Knowledge of NOM-051 (preferred) * Familiarity with customs terminology and its application: Incoterms, import clearance, IGI, TIGIE consultation, and tariff classification analysis * Review of customs declarations and calculation of duties and taxes * Review of expense accounts * Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills * Knowledge of SAP Business One (preferred; candidates meeting this requirement will be prioritized) **SKILLS** * Strong sense of organization and planning * Rigorous follow-up and control * Numerical aptitude * Problem-solving ability **WORK SCHEDULE**: Monday to Friday, 8:00–18:00 hrs; Saturdays, 8:00–12:00 hrs Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term contract Salary: $13,000.00 – $15,000.00 per month Benefits: * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
