Hardware Technician – Experienced in Access Control Installation

Position Summary: We are seeking a Hardware Technician with solid experience to join our Operations team, providing on-site technical support, installation, and maintenance of equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Resolving technical role with excellent communication and customer service. 2. Installation, configuration, and commissioning of access control equipment. 3. Field diagnosis and resolution of hardware and software failures. We seek a Hardware Technician with solid experience to join our Operations team. This is an on-site position with the client; therefore, we require a technically competent, solution-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, as they will serve as the company’s direct representative to the client during project execution and service delivery. What will you do in this position? • Install, configure, and commission access control equipment. • Perform structured cabling, conduit routing, and low-voltage connections. • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software failures in the field. • Provide on-site technical support to end users. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on access points, turnstiles, and vehicle barriers. • Handle incidents directly with the client, delivering clear and timely solutions. • Document installations, services, and technical reports in an organized and professional manner. • Maintain professional communication and uphold a corporate image aligned with the company. Profile We Are Seeking: • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role. • Solid knowledge of electronics and electricity (intermediate–advanced). • Proven experience with access control equipment and electronic systems. • Basic/intermediate knowledge of networking. • Proficiency with computer tools (Office, email, internet). • Excellent service attitude and assertive communication. • Ability to work autonomously and resolve problems in the field. • Organizational and disciplined approach to task tracking and reporting. • Technical English for reading (desirable). • Valid driver’s license with manual transmission capability. • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. -Requirements- Minimum Education: Higher Education – Bachelor’s Degree 3 years of experience Languages: English Knowledge Areas: Hardware, Operating Systems Driver’s Licenses: A Willingness to Travel: Yes Keywords: technologist, technician, tech, technician, technology, tecnología, technologist, assembly, assembly, mounting, installation, installer, installer, installation
