




Job Summary: We are seeking a Structured Cabling Technician with initiative, manual dexterity, and eagerness to learn for large-scale projects, supporting cable pulling, connectorization, conduit routing, labeling, and continuity testing. We do not require years of prior work experience; instead, we focus on your academic background (school, workshops, or incomplete degree), manual skills, and willingness to learn alongside engineers experienced in large-scale projects. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:** * **Cable Pulling:** Assisting in the guided deployment of UTP (Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A) and coaxial cables through conduits, rigid pipes (conduit), and cable trays (ladder racks). * **Connectorization (Punch-Down):** Termination and assembly of RJ45 jacks on wall outlets, male plugs, and organization/termination on patch panels within the communications rack. * **Conduit Routing and Support:** Assisting in the installation of plastic raceways, assembly of lightweight conduit, and physical anchoring of racks or wall-mounted cabinets. * **Labeling and Administration:** Labeling and organizing network cables and nodes according to project blueprints and requirements. * **Continuity Testing:** Using basic testers to verify correct punch-down and functionality of installed network nodes. **WHAT PROFILE ARE WE SEEKING? (BASIC KNOWLEDGE)** * **Education:** Technical diploma, student intern, or incomplete degree in Networking, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Familiarity (at least theoretical or academic) with color-coding standards for network cable termination per **TIA/EIA-568A and 568B standards**. * Basic identification of networking materials (differences among UTP cable categories, patch cords, cable organizers, jacks). * Familiarity with or prior use of basic hand tools (punch-down tools, impact tool / *punch down*, cable strippers). * Basic understanding of safe operation of portable power tools (drill, rotary hammer). * **Mandatory:** Willingness and ability to travel * **Desirable:** Vehicle operation capability and valid driver’s license Salary: $10,000.00 - $13,000.00 per month Benefits: * Flexible working hours * Additional vacation days or paid leave Work Location: On-site employment
