Job Summary: We are seeking a technician specialized in corrective and preventive maintenance of agricultural and mining diesel machinery, performing diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and hydraulic systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintenance of CAT, Cummins, Perkins, and other diesel machinery 2. Diagnosis and repair of faults in vehicles and equipment 3. Job Objectives: * Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on CAT, Cummins, Perkins, and other diesel machinery, including front-end loaders, excavators, mini-loaders, and forklifts. * Conduct diagnostics, identify, and repair faults in vehicles and equipment. * Replace oil, seals, bearings, hoses, gaskets, hydraulic pumps, diesel pumps, water pumps, oil pumps, bushings, joints, tires, and other components related to combustion equipment. * Time the engine properly by synchronizing the machine’s cylinders. * Repair transmission, steering, hydraulic valve banks, engines, cylinders, gaskets, pistons, and other components and systems of internal combustion equipment, using scanners and diagnostic tools for internal combustion machinery. * Diagnose solenoid valves, electronic control boards of machinery, and other components of internal combustion equipment. * Perform tasks such as battery replacement, starter motor repair, and removal of alternators for repair by electromechanical technicians. * Carry out basic preventive maintenance tasks, such as filter and oil changes, under the supervision of a maintenance technician or supervisor.
