Job Summary: AFL seeks an Oracle Application Developer to design, develop, document, test, and implement solutions, collaborating with customers to improve processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop Oracle solutions for process improvements 2. Work independently and assume responsibility for results 3. Collaborate with internal and external customers for IT requirements AFL is an innovative company offering industry-leading solutions, products, and services to energy, service provider, enterprise, industrial, and various emerging markets. We specialize in manufacturing optical fiber cables and a wide range of other state-of-the-art telecommunications products, including conductor accessories, fiber optic connectivity, fusion splicing, and test and inspection equipment. We are expanding and seeking talent for the position of: "Oracle Application Developer" Requirements: * 4-year undergraduate degree in Information Sciences, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or significant relevant experience required. * Minimum 5 years of development experience in Oracle EBS Applications. * Very good English oral and written communication skills required. Technical Skills: * Oracle applications architecture for Oracle R12, SQL\*Plus, PL/SQL, Developer 10g, toolset (Forms and Reports), Linux, Oracle WF Builder, BI Publisher, OA Framework toolsets. Responsibilities: * Works with internal and external customers and suppliers to understand the business requirements behind requested computing initiatives * Works with business process owners to design, develop, document, test, and implement solutions * Initiates and participates in Oracle development projects by collaborating with the business to drive process improvements * Has the ability and initiative to work independently and accepts accountability for project results.
