Technical Support Engineer with Programming (Junior/Mid-level)

We are looking for a **Technical Support Engineer** with programming knowledge to join one of the most important **technology solutions** teams nationally and internationally. **Position Objective:** Provide level 2 and level 3 technical support for internal and customer-facing applications, participating in the analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex incidents. The role includes reading and performing controlled modifications to source code, data analysis, and direct collaboration with development teams, ensuring the stability of production environments. **Responsibilities:** * Provide level 2 and level 3 technical support for internal and customer-facing applications. * Diagnose incidents in production environments. * Read and modify code in **PHP**. * Develop **Python** scripts for automation, basic data analysis, and operational support. * Perform advanced **SQL** queries (MySQL and PostgreSQL). * Analyze logs, debug code, and review data. * Execute controlled data corrections following established procedures. * Collaborate closely with development teams. * Document incidents, solutions, and technical procedures. * Propose preventive improvements to reduce error recurrence. **Hard Skills** * Experience in Level 2 or Level 3 technical support. * **PHP**: reading, comprehension, and controlled modifications. * **Python**: scripting, automation, and basic analysis. * **SQL**: advanced queries, joins, subqueries, and data analysis. * Production error diagnosis through log analysis and debugging. **Desirable** * Prior experience working with development teams. * Basic knowledge of **Git**. * Familiarity with **Linux** environments. * Conceptual understanding of **ITIL** methodologies. * Experience with mission-critical applications or production environments. **Soft Skills:** * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. * Attention to detail in data and code. * Clear communication with both technical and non-technical teams. * Discipline in following procedures and controls. * Ability to handle pressure during production incidents. * Collaborative work with development and operations teams. * Responsibility and focus on quality and stability. **Ideal Profile:** * 2 to 5 years of experience in application support, systems, or technical operations. * Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. * Technical profile with interest in understanding how applications work and growing into advanced support, development, DevOps, or SRE roles.
