Headquartered in Malvern, PA, CPI is supported by: \>2,500 global associates, 7 manufacturing sites, 12 corporate offices, and 43 service branches. **WHAT YOU’LL DO** Lead the root cause analysis process for internally identified issues and follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, as well as provide support—as required by the Quality Leader—for external quality issues related to manufacturing. Additionally, provide support to production lines for quality issues and customer complaints. The Quality Engineer will have a direct impact on our corporate group, responsible for: * Conducting weekly Quality Gemba Walks to monitor whether the production line has standard operating documents, complies with them, and—in case of deviations—ensures required documentation (pilots, concessions, temporary work instructions, TCNs) is available and deployed per current procedures. * Attending daily VS Gemba walks. * Leading Control Plan and SPC meetings. * Implementing and maintaining APQP Core Tools for assigned production lines. * Keeping control plans for assigned production lines updated. * Managing and documenting root cause analyses arising from customer complaints assigned by the Quality Coordinator—including leading the 8D analysis of customer complaints—as well as internal SADR issues. * Leading productivity projects. * Serving as backup for the Quality Leader when required (development plan). * Supporting rework activities at distribution centers due to quality issues. * Participating in and leading kaizens. * Validating and approving documentation (TWI, pilots, TCN, IT, concessions). * Analyzing quality indicator results and trends for processes and products, and establishing and documenting necessary corrective and preventive actions to ensure achievement of the established 3-in-1 objectives for respective production lines. * Attending cross-functional meetings on quality topics (FPY, RTY, Quality). * Ensuring applicable metrics are updated in designated media via weekly Bowler updates. * Attending weekly VS meetings. * Analyzing and deploying Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) across all production lines. **WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR** **Qualifications and Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent. * English proficiency level: Advanced. * Experience: Desirable: 2 years in quality processes. Desirable: 2 years in manufacturing processes. Desirable: 2 years applying problem-solving tools on production lines.
