Requirements: Education: Civil Engineering or Architecture degree Experience: 5 years of experience in structural steel design, structural analysis, and calculation reports. Drawing of plans and preparation of fabrication bills of materials. Preparation of fabrication cost estimates for structures. Knowledge: SAP 2000, AUTOCAD, and TEKLA Responsibilities: Perform volume takeoffs of structures based on structural design drawings (MTO) Prepare material procurement lists (ABM) Analyze project designs and propose improvements to enhance delivery efficiency. Model structural elements using Tekla software Generate connections between structural elements according to project specifications. Generate and edit fabrication and erection drawings consistent with the modeled structure and project specifications. Provide technical support to the fabrication and erection departments. Produce renders of temporary structures (tents) Continuous improvement of structural designs. Application of current technical standards Design compliance with safety and service requirements Prepare cost estimates for erection, dismantling, and maintenance of structures.
