**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** Completed High School or Completed Technical Degree **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Stabilize the process for first-piece release by Quality. * Ensure hourly production output of equipment under responsibility according to capacity and in accordance with the production plan and quality standards. * Ensure the master control sheet is present at the press when changing the die. * Prepare first-piece release documentation. * Lead corrective actions to resolve safety, quality, and productivity issues. * Responsible for discipline, safety, order, and cleanliness of personnel and areas under supervision. * Collaborate as part of a team with designated departments to improve key indicators such as DFP, scrap, downtime, etc. * Perform process failure diagnostics. * Develop and follow machine shutdown and startup procedures. * Change dies according to procedure. * Develop checklists for startup and process control variables. * Verify die scheduling on machines. * Responsible for reporting maintenance and tool room issues. * Carry out activities with minimal supervision, demonstrating high accountability and exceptional results. * Comply with all required certifications and/or programs, such as: ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. * Generate and track work orders according to established procedure. **Resumen:** RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, organize and direct maintenance activities for the plant to meet established plant objectives. Responsabilidades: Serve as a teacher, coach and advisor to facilitate teamwork and continued employee development. 1\. Daily record maintenance calls, make work assignments for all maintenance personnel. 2\. Complete preventative maintenance activities in accordance with agreed upon goals. Complete service request within agreed upon deadlines. 3\. Provide complete and clear instructions when giving work assignments. Assure tools and equipment are in proper working order, and responsible for security of departmental equipment. 4\. Take corrective action and remedy substandard performance and deviation from Company policies and procedures occurring within the department. 5\. Communicate to employees regarding standards and expectations, quality and quantity of work performed. 6\. Interpret labor agreement in situations affecting department and grievance resolutions in line with contractual obligations and management rights. 7\. Identify and correct root causes of poor productivity, efficiency, and attainment of department objectives. 8\. Maintain a safe work atmosphere and clean working conditions. 9\. Effectively communicate with supervision and other maintenance shifts.
