If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary. **Job Summary** --------------- **Summary:** *To support our extraordinary teams that create excellent products and contribute to our growth, we are seeking to hire an engineering technician located in Aguascalientes.* *The position of* *Insertion Process Technician\-1* *within the Metal Fab Engineering department involves reviewing process parameters per work instructions to prevent product defects across all operations within the Insertion line; generating reports, status updates, improvements, prevention actions, and corrective actions within the process — all aimed at improving cycle times, costs, automation, detection, measurement, etc., covering both software and hardware of inspection equipment. Deliverables include emails, tables, systems, records, and historical logs related to the aforementioned process.* **Daily Responsibilities:** * *Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the Insertion line within the production process.* * *Conduct 5S audits on all inspection equipment and across the general area.* * *Respond promptly to and resolve general quality issues, including assessing impacts on the product.* * *Manage inspection and measurement equipment, particularly regarding calibration.* * *Follow up on unresolved issues and pending items from previous shifts, and provide status updates on issues arising during your shift.* * *Support reading and interpreting Work Orders.* **Experience:** * *Familiarity with insertion lines (equipment, controls, daily issues)* * *Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, manometers, etc.* * *People management experience* * *Knowledge of rework for insertion defects, including missing components, incorrect components, mispositioned components, reversed components, etc.* **Benefits:** * *Competitive salary* * *Life and medical insurance* * *Year-end bonus (Aguinaldo)* * *Food vouchers* * *Savings fund* **Job Category** ---------------- Production Engineering Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
