Achieve extraordinary things when you join our team and make a difference in your professional development, the community, and around the world!** **Job Mission:** Inspection and packaging of finished containers. **Responsibilities:** * Comply with and enforce Ball's safety policies by following operational safety procedures. * Release product startup with quality standards to ensure smooth production start. * Ensure container quality in attributes, shoulder, and curl through inspection of each nest. * Package containers using tables and strapping machines. * Operate strapping machines and replace straps to ensure process continuity. * Maintain order and cleanliness of machines and production lines to meet housekeeping standards. * Notify upstream process operators of visual defects for correction. * Segregate non-conforming material for review. * Review non-conforming material for release and palletizing. * Perform internal cleaning of strapping machines to ensure proper operation. * Print labels for pallet identification using the JD Edwards system. * Evaluate strapping quality to prevent loose nests or deformed containers. * Support training for newly hired personnel. * Participate in continuous improvement programs. * Attend Training/Company programs. * Review selection and rework processes. * Perform all other duties assigned by immediate supervisor to ensure production process continuity. **Qualifications:** * Education: High School Diploma * Experience: 2 years in industry. **Ball Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
