We are looking for a talented **Warehouse Associate B** to join our specialized **logistics** team at **CUMMINS** in **SLP**. **Position Summary:** Under moderate supervision, the Warehouse Associate B is responsible for receiving, handling, storing, processing transactions in the system, and shipping goods in a plant or warehouse. Ensures proper classification, labeling, and arrangement of materials, optimizing available space. Also participates in audits, reporting, and supporting customer emergencies, complying with safety, quality, and operational efficiency standards. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** * Receive, sort, label, pack, and store goods. * Consolidate materials and read and interpret work instructions. * Ensure achievement of area KPIs. * Prepare inventory reports. * Conduct physical audits and use PVIs. * Participate in cycle counts and control of non-conforming materials. * Verify damages and discrepancies between goods and invoices. * Identify risks in the work area and act according to HSE policies. * Use personal protective equipment and participate in safety training. * Communicate effectively with team and support areas. * Participate in process improvement, safety, and development initiatives. * Keep the work area clean and organized. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **T** **To succeed in this role, you will need the following:** * Forklift operation (desirable, openness to learning and training on mobile equipment). * Knowledge of warehouse processes. * Computer skills and proficiency in Office software (essential). * Focus on safety, identifying potential risks in the work area. * One year of warehouse experience (desirable). * Knowledge of rack storage and picking. * Knowledge of FIFO (preferably). * Experience in cycle counting (preferably). * Familiarity with scanners or trackers (preferably). * Knowledge of warehouse activities (unloading boxes, loading boxes, receiving, storage, shipping). * Material consolidation. * Reading and interpreting work instructions. * Knowledge of load pyramids (preferably). *Cummins values diversity and inclusion and seeks professionals with diverse backgrounds.
