Summary: The Divisional Materials Planner leads planning and execution of material requirements for multiple production facilities, optimizing materials management and driving continuous improvement. Work closely with plant operations teams to deploy standard processes Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Material Planner. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027\. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. **What you’ll do:** ------------------- **Job Summary** The Divisional Materials Planner leads the planning and execution of material requirements to ensure the right quantity is available at the right time for each production facility within VGNA (SLP, SLP\-JV, KM, ELC, ELC\-JV, Aguascalientes, and Reynosa). This role works closely with plant operations teams to deploy standard processes and tools that optimize materials management. The planner manages supplier relationships, coordinates escalations with buyers and Commodity Managers, and drives continuous improvement in inventory control and material flow. **Job Responsibilities** A. Checks shortage report and assures material availability for the productive plants (SLP, SLP\-JV, KM, ELC, ELC\-JV, Aguascalientes and Reynosa) B. Reviews and determines if is agreeable to take “Add in’s” for additional demand C. Monitor Inventory Value and is constantly checking overmax inventory to look for reduction opportunities D. Monitor items to be with in min\-max range E. Lead supplier discussions to avoid disruptions into the plants F. Scalations with SCM Managers to solve commercial\-shortage issues G. Maintains excess/obsolete material controlled. H. Coordinate control M Jobs audit every quarter I. Leads historical forecast analysis in case material is being overpulled by the plants J. Review material requirements planning, capacity requirements planning and logistics K. Monthly min/max analysis to avoid shortages or excess L. PF control M. Maintain ERP Oracle atributes in a quaterly basis N. Support PM / CM when Phase In \- Phase out projets Ñ. Maintain KPIs under Wekly Planning Dashborad (PD PO/ PD ISOs / Aging ASN / Under min / Over max ) O. Operate whit urgency when it’s needed to mitigate impact to our customers, able to maintain calm on stressful situations P. Promotes the IMPACT strategy and supports Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies. \#LI\-KL1 **Qualifications:** ------------------- **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field. **Experience** * Minimum **2 years of experience** in Materials Planning, Plant Operations, or a related function. * Proven experience managing materials planning for **multiple manufacturing sites or lines.** **Technical Knowledge** * ERP systems: **SAP and/or Oracle** * Advanced use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, dashboards) * KPIs: OTD, PF, DOH * Logistics and inventory management fundamentals **Skills:** ----------- **Soft skills** * Strong ethical standards and integrity * Results‑driven with a problem‑solving mindset * Strategic thinking with the ability to act decisively * Effective negotiation and communication skills * Ability to perform under pressure in fast‑paced environments * Capability to build organizational and cross‑functional collaboration All positions may require participation in video and in\-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
