Job Summary: We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to ensure the availability, performance, and security of the technological infrastructure and services. Key Responsibilities: 1. Linux server administration and management 2. Linux system monitoring and troubleshooting 3. Implementation and migration of services in Linux environments At UTEL University, we seek a Linux Systems Administrator responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the technological infrastructure, guaranteeing the proper operation of services and servers according to business service-level agreements. Responsibilities Linux server administration and management Implementation and migration of services in Linux environments Infrastructure administration in AWS and/or Rackspace Security management for servers and services Linux system monitoring and troubleshooting Implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance plans Documentation of processes and activities Incident support and resolution Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering or related field Minimum 3 years of experience Linux systems administration Experience in: AWS and/or Rackspace Nginx and Apache Mail servers MySQL databases VPN Moodle (desirable) Networking, security, and network fundamentals Bash programming English (basic to intermediate level) Competencies Analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail Teamwork Organizational skills Proactivity Work Conditions Work Modality: On-site Standard Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Availability to cover operations from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM (rotating shifts) Days Off: Saturday and Sunday Salary: $36,000.00 gross Fixed amount: $32,000.00 gross; Variable amount: $4,000.00 gross Statutory benefits plus additional benefits Work Location: Naucalpan, State of Mexico If you meet the profile and are interested in joining our team, please apply through this channel and we will contact you shortly. -Requirements- Minimum Education: Higher Education - Bachelor's Degree 3 years of experience
