At **Netfy**, we are looking for a **DBA Support Engineer / SQL Expert** to join a strategic project focused on support and technological evolution in **mission-critical production environments**. This role will be key to ensuring the **performance, availability, stability, and integrity** of databases used by high-volume customers with continuous operations. The position has a strong focus on **SQL Server**, automation, and continuous improvement, working closely with development, infrastructure, and data teams. **Responsibilities** * Technical support at **second and third level** for **SQL Server** platforms. * Handling and resolution of tickets related to: * Poor performance * Errors, blocking, and complex queries * Execution of tasks including: * Backup and restoration * Monitoring and maintenance * Database cleanup and optimization * Optimization of: * Queries * Stored procedures * Indexes and data structures * Documentation of incidents, solutions, scripts, and configurations. * Support during audits and data integrity validations. * Automation of tasks using **T\-SQL, PowerShell, or Bash**. * Collaboration with developers for SQL code review and improvement. * Compliance with internal standards for **quality, security, and availability**. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field **(completed)**. * Solid experience in **SQL Server database technical support** in critical environments. * Advanced proficiency in **SQL Server (2016 or later)**: * Performance tuning * Indexes * Jobs * Triggers * Partitioning * Experience in **diagnosing and resolving production incidents**. * Scripting knowledge for automation (T\-SQL, PowerShell, Bash). * Familiarity with tools such as: * SSMS * Azure Data Studio * Redgate (or similar) * Analytical ability and problem-solving orientation. * Strong communication skills with technical and functional teams. **Desirable** * Certifications in **SQL Server (Microsoft)**, **ITIL**, or related areas. * Basic knowledge of **PostgreSQL, MySQL**, or **cloud** environments. * Experience in **regulated or mission-critical environments**. **What we offer** * **Competitive salary**, commensurate with experience. * Job stability within a robust technology environment. * **Continuous training** and access to technical certifications. * Statutory benefits and additional perks. * Productivity bonus.
