





Position Objective The Snacking US Product Development Manager is responsible for creating and sustaining our sources of profitability through new product development, documentation of products and processes (know-how), cost savings generation, process standardization—all in an agile manner that meets the operational needs of the business, customers, and consumers while complying with global policies and local regulations. The Snacking US Product Development Manager will develop, within the strategic framework of the US Snacking pipeline, new products and processes that meet the needs of the geography served. Will identify and leverage R&D synergies—including processes, formulation, and quality—with direct impact on the division’s EBITDA. Will execute technology transfer projects between Snacking Global and the Operating Unit related to product and process engineering. Key Responsibilities Development of formulations and processes for new products. Technical, operational, and sensory validation of products and processes. Product design validation with customers and consumers. Feasibility analysis of product and process implementation. Manufacturing implementation of products and processes. Leading continuous improvement projects for products or processes and tracking their results and implementation. Optimization of formulations and processes for existing products. Optimization of formulation costing. Sourcing and validation of alternative raw materials and packaging suppliers. Evaluation of formulation efficiency and effectiveness for products and processes. Documentation of raw material, finished product, and process specifications. Supporting and monitoring operations. Ensuring, from the product and process development perspective, compliance with local and international regulations for both product and process, as well as export readiness to the US (FDA/USDA). Collaborating with plant quality and food safety committees to develop HACCP plans ensuring food safety for developed and implemented products. Ensuring service levels across production plants by closely monitoring manufacturing variables to prevent bottlenecks. Generating product labeling information compliant with the regulations of the country where commercial execution occurs. Your Profile Professional with a degree in Food Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 4 years of experience in R&D-related roles. English proficiency—both written and spoken—at minimum B2 level. Willingness to travel internationally (US up to 50% of the time). Experience in project management, cost optimization (formulation and process), regulatory compliance, and knowledge of FDA and USDA requirements. Basic understanding of marketing and consumer insights, as well as the company’s overall business process (supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and commercial execution). Ability to work independently, efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver formal, professional presentations.
