Our optical communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware, and equipment into an industry-leading, full-service provider of comprehensive optical solutions, spanning the broader communications industry. This segment is divided into two main product groups: carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group primarily consists of products and solutions for fiber optic communication infrastructures supporting services such as video, data, and voice communications. Purpose Drive the strategic planning and execution of supply chain programs within OCS, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role leads cross-functional collaborations to optimize logistics, sourcing, and planning capabilities, that deliver innovation, efficiency, and customer value through advanced digital tools, lean principles, and organizational change management. Responsibilities * Lead complex, cross-functional supply chain programs from inception to completion, shaping best-in-class supply chain models for OCS. * Lead vision-setting and execution planning for program supply chain strategy. * Engage with internal customers and senior stakeholders to ensure program solutions optimize supply chain operations and deliver measurable value. * Lead process optimizations across people, systems, data and workflows. * Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for program requirements, business cases, and cross-system impacts. * Partner with global SMEs for solution designs, best practices and standardization. * Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes effectively to all levels of the organization. * Analyze root causes of supply chain challenges and drive corrective actions at a program level. * Facilitate Lean and digital integration to optimize processes and ensure execution. * Partner with global SC project leaders to streamline solutions. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. * 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including program or project leadership. * Expertise in supply chain operations (forecasting, planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, transportation). * Proven ability to leverage ERP and Advanced supply chain solutions for operational excellence. * Advanced project/program management skills, methodologies, and tools. * Demonstrated leadership in digital transformation or large-scale optimizations. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to manage multiple complex programs and priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. * Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset. Preferred: * Master’s degree. * PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, or CSCP certifications. Corning puts YOU first!
