




Title/Position: Injection Tooling Engineer ***Essential Job Functions*** 1\. Diagnose mold and process performance issues using systematic root cause and mechanical assessments. 2\. Recommend and implement corrective actions to improve mold condition, cycle consistency, and processing windows. 3\. Collaborate closely with the Omaha Engineering Team, providing clear, transparent communication on both issues and proposed solutions. 4\. Perform detailed mold evaluations both in production and at the bench, documenting findings accurately and comprehensively. 5\. Partner with the toolroom to review and prioritize mold repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects. 6\. Support toolroom efficiency initiatives by improving workflow planning, preventive maintenance (PM) scheduling, and documentation practices. 7\. Assist in mold shop planning and implementation of improvement efforts to reduce inefficiencies and downtime. 8\. Contribute to cost recovery and pricing efforts by analyzing mold, part, and storage\-related costs, and advising on ways to incorporate these into resin or process pricing. 9\. Maintain high standards for documentation, ensuring detailed reporting of all technical findings and improvement actions. ***Qualifications*** 1\. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Associate’s degree with significant experience considered). 2\. 3\+ years of experience in injection mold tooling, processing, or related engineering discipline. 3\. Strong understanding of injection molding processes, tooling design, and maintenance principles. 4\. Proven ability to identify root causes and propose effective technical and process solutions. 5\. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on transparency and solution\-focused collaboration. 6\. Experience working cross\-functionally between engineering, production, and tooling departments. 7\. Basic understanding of pricing, cost structure, and process economics related to tooling and resin. 8\. High attention to detail and disciplined approach to documentation and project tracking. 9\.
