Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.**Job Responsibilities:** **Position Objective** Ensure compliance with established quality management system standards in the assembly and inspection processes of actuators and complete mirrors; serve as the Division’s primary contact regarding customer complaints and coordinate implementation of corrective actions arising from such incidents. **Main Responsibilities** * Establish and monitor compliance with quality standards in the production process and final product. * Analyze parts rejected by customers and coordinate efforts to implement corrective actions. * Analyze internal rejections and coordinate application of corresponding corrective actions. * Complete and track results of the monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) report. * Coordinate activities for annual validations of products within the assigned platform. * Prepare PPAP and/or coordinate activities to complete PPAP information, as well as follow up on customer approval. * Participate in the Product Development Process (PDP) jointly with relevant departments. * Manage the measurement team under your supervision. * Develop Safe Launch, inspection, and testing work instructions. * Review and update procedures and work instructions applicable to your area. * Conduct cross-functional process audits, Layered Process Audits (LPAs), 8D review audits or cross-functional corrective action audits. * Perform Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) on applicable measurement equipment under your supervision. * Establish acceptance criteria based on customer specifications or internal specifications. * Establish quality control systems that reduce or prevent recurrence of defects delivered to customers. * Create and update Control Plans for assigned platforms. * Coordinate activities of personnel under your supervision, as well as administer and track payroll incidents, leave requests, and vacation schedules. * Establish development plans and conduct performance evaluations for personnel under your supervision. * Ensure personnel under your supervision possess the necessary competencies to perform their respective job functions. **Education and Experience** * Completed Engineering degree: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering. * Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles within the quality field. * Prior experience in the automotive industry (desirable). **Required Competencies** * Knowledge of basic problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8Ds, 8 Steps). * Knowledge of Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC). * Ability to interpret the IATF16949 standard. * Certification as an IATF16949 internal auditor (desirable). * Proficiency in handling basic measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, force gauges, scales). * Familiarity with customer portals and their applications (as applicable). * Knowledge of specific customer requirements (as applicable). * Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Analytical skills. * Customer negotiation skills. * Ability to conduct conversations in English. **Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:** ---------------------------------- At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
