




**Position Overview** We are seeking an experienced **Plant Manager** to oversee the manufacturing operations in **Mexico**, ensuring the highest standards of productivity, efficiency, quality, and compliance with corporate goals. This role combines strategic leadership with hands\-on operational management and requires close coordination with **U.S.\-based teams** to ensure alignment across production, quality, finance, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate is a **hands\-on leader** with solid experience **managing large\-scale manufacturing operations**, preferably in the **automotive or metal\-mechanical industries**; capable of managing complex operations, optimizing processes, and motivating multidisciplinary teams in fast\-paced, international and dynamic environments. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and oversee all daily operations in the manufacturing plant, ensuring product quality and compliance with production schedules. * Execute strategic, financial, and operational plans to meet company objectives and improve plant performance. * Lead, train, and develop a multidisciplinary team across all departments and organizational levels. * Uphold and communicate the company’s mission, vision, and core values throughout the organization. * Implement corporate policies, procedures, and performance standards within the plant. * Collaborate with U.S. Operations to implement advanced manufacturing processes that enhance productivity, minimize waste, and support new project rollouts and equipment transfers. * Evaluate plant performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, and cost efficiency. * Work closely with the U.S. Finance team to manage plant budgets, labor, materials, overhead, and capital investments. * Oversee **P\&L (Profit \& Loss)** performance of the Mexican subsidiary. * Partner with U.S. Sales to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. * Collaborate with U.S. Supply Chain to align material availability and production with customer delivery schedules. * Coordinate with U.S. Engineering to ensure compliance with technical requirements, product quality, and continuous process improvement. * Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate plant personnel to maintain a high\-performing and motivated workforce. * Manage relationships with international suppliers for machinery, spare parts, and critical materials. * Ensure compliance with regulatory, fiscal, safety, and quality standards. * Represent the company legally and operationally in Mexico when required **Required Skills and Experience** · **10\+ years of senior management experience** in a comparable leadership position within manufacturing operations with proven experience in the **automotive, metal\-mechanical, or general manufacturing industries** (automotive preferred). · Strong understanding of **regulatory, fiscal, and export manufacturing certifications**, as well as **international import/export regulations** and **financial performance metrics (KPIs)**. · Solid expertise in **logistics management** and **production planning**. · Demonstrated ability to **enhance production quality**, **reduce defects**, and **control operational costs**. · Proven experience in the **automotive, metal\-mechanical, or general manufacturing industries** (automotive preferred). · Knowledge of **tariff structures** and **trade regulations** involving the **U.S., Europe, and Asia**. · Experience **managing relationships with international suppliers** of machinery, spare parts, and equipment. · Strong **leadership**, **planning**, **organizational**, and **decision\-making** skills. · Solid **financial acumen**, including **budgeting, analysis, reporting, and cost control**. · Excellent **written and verbal communication skills**;
