Position Summary: We are seeking a professional to prepare and submit Electronic Value Declarations, ensuring accurate customs value determination and proper documentary integration. Proficiency in VUCEM and customs valuation methods **Job Description:** * **Academic Qualification:** Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade, Logistics and Customs, or Customs Law. * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in similar roles within customs agencies or corporate import departments, with knowledge of customs valuation. * **Competencies:** Attention to detail, ability to analyze regulatory frameworks, documentary organization, and ability to work under pressure. 2\. Key Responsibilities * **Preparation and Submission of EVD:** Prepare, process, and submit the Electronic Value Declaration via the Mexican Single Window for Foreign Trade (VUCEM) or internal systems, along with required supporting documents. * **Digital File Management:** Ensure proper integration of supporting documents for the Value Declaration (e.g., invoices, contracts, transport documents, insurance policies, payment receipts, etc.). * **Customs Value Determination:** Determine the customs value of goods, considering the transaction value based on the applicable valuation method, as well as any necessary add-on or deductible costs (e.g., freight, insurance, packaging, royalties, etc.). * **EVD Review:** Verify correct submission of the Electronic Value Declaration and proper integration of its supporting documents. 3\. Technical Knowledge * **Legal Framework:** Customs Law, Customs Law Regulations, General Rules of Foreign Trade. * **Valuation Methods:** Proficiency in customs valuation methods. * **Platforms:** Proficiency in VUCEM. * **Incoterms:** Correct interpretation and application of billing terms.
