




**Systems Assistant and Technical Support** **Area:** Systems / Information Technology **Job Description** We are seeking a responsible **Systems Assistant and Technical Support** professional to provide assistance, guidance, and solutions for the institution’s technological needs. The candidate will deliver direct user support, manage incidents, and collaborate on operations, maintenance, and administration of equipment, networks, and internal systems. **Main Responsibilities** * Provide **technical support** to users (hardware, software, and institutional services). * Diagnose and resolve failures in computers, printers, and peripheral devices. * Respond to and track technological incidents. * Install, update, and perform basic maintenance of software and systems. * Configure equipment, user accounts, email accounts, and institutional access credentials. * Backup, organize, and safeguard institutional information. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on computer equipment. * Provide network, connectivity, internet, and peripheral support. * Track and record equipment, inventories, and technological materials. * Configure and support administrative and academic systems. * Guide staff in the proper use of digital tools. * Generate incident reports, progress updates, and solution summaries. **Requirements** * Basic to intermediate knowledge of technical support and hardware. * Basic knowledge of networking (Wi-Fi, LAN, IP). * Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems. * Ability to analyze and diagnose technical issues. * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and process follow-up capability. * Availability to support different departments as required. **Skills and Competencies** * Courteous demeanor and user-focused service orientation. * Patience and tolerance when resolving problems. * Clear communication. * Ability to work under pressure. * Teamwork.
