Opportunity to propose process improvements for greater efficiency Job Objective The Pre-Payroll Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing all activities related to the preparation and review of pre-payroll documentation for staff. This role is critical to ensuring that all employees receive their payments accurately and on time, in compliance with internal policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: * Review and verify the accuracy of attendance records and hours worked. * Coordinate with other departments to collect and validate data required for pre-payroll processing. * Calculate deductions, overtime hours, bonuses, and other applicable payroll components. * Ensure compliance with current labor and tax laws governing payroll. * Prepare pre-payroll reports and analyses for senior management. * Resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries related to pre-payroll. * Maintain up-to-date employee records and pre-payroll files. * Support internal and external payroll audits. * Propose improvements to pre-payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience handling pre-payroll or in a similar role. Technical Knowledge: * Proficiency in payroll management software and ERP systems. * Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data analysis tools. * Familiarity with labor and tax legislation applicable to payroll. Skills: * Attention to detail and data accuracy. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. * Results-oriented mindset with capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
