





Description: **The Gund Company:** We care for each other, we care for our customers, and we care for our business. **Job Summary** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tools, and continuously monitor process parameters to ensure production requirements and quality standards are met. Complete forms and checklists as documentation of work performed. Conduct tool storage and periodic inventory management. Perform process audits to verify proper tool usage, adjustment, and storage. Support the development, tracking, and release of new tools. Maintain constant interaction with support departments—such as Maintenance, Quality, Production, and Safety—to coordinate activities and ensure operational continuity, resolving any incidents or anomalies that arise. Adhere to industrial safety guidelines and ensure safe working conditions for all personnel involved. **Key Job Responsibilities:** * Tool repair (cutting dies, punches, mandrels, crimping tools, etc.). * Completion of repair and maintenance forms. * Conducting inventories and organizing tools. * Mandrel repair (fabrication and component welding). * Performing in-process tool audits. * Completing tool checklists (for new tools and tools in the workshop). * Supporting new tool development and tracking. * Sheet metal work (fabrication/modification of racks, material carts, etc.). * Inspecting machine safety guards. * Validating product parts using Virtek (a machine located in the Quality Lab). * Maintaining area organization through implementation of 6S. * Assisting with general activities. **Other Responsibilities:** * Performing general job duties. * Embodying corporate culture values. * Ensuring the safety and physical well-being of coworkers. * Supporting other departments. Requirements: **Minimum Requirements** * Education – Secondary School / High School Diploma * Experience – Manufacturing industry (6 months). * Technical Skills – Computer use, part inspection, etc. * Soft Skills: Patience, perseverance, teamwork, resilience, shop-floor work, verbal and written communication, active listening, and proactiveness. **Required Skills** * Use of measurement equipment. * Use of hand tools. * Teamwork. * Working under pressure. * Effective communication. * Quality focus. * Frustration tolerance. **Work Schedule** Availability to rotate shifts. **Employment Type** 3-month fixed-term contract, followed by an indefinite-term contract.
