ELECTROMECHANICAL ENGINEER FOR INSTALLATIONS COORDINATOR

We are seeking an electromechanical engineer to coordinate, supervise, and ensure the proper execution of electromechanical installations in construction projects, guaranteeing quality and timelines.

An electromechanical engineer is required for the role of Installations Coordinator at a construction company specializing in electromechanical installations.
Stable employment within the city of Tijuana.
Working hours:
MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
SATURDAY: 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
**Position Objective**
To coordinate, supervise, and ensure the correct execution of electromechanical installations (electrical, hydraulic, sanitary, special, and HVAC) in construction projects, guaranteeing compliance with drawings, technical standards, quality, safety, costs, and established timelines.
**Academic Qualifications**
* Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field
* Professional degree and license (desirable)
**Required Experience**
* Minimum **3 to 5 years** coordinating or supervising installations on-site
* Proven experience in **building, industrial, or infrastructure** projects
* Experience managing installation contractors and subcontractors
**Technical Knowledge**
* Low- and medium-voltage electrical installations
* Hydraulic, sanitary, and stormwater systems
* HVAC and mechanical ventilation systems
* Special systems (voice and data, CCTV, fire detection, access control)
* Reading and interpretation of drawings and calculation reports
* Applicable regulations (NOM, NEC, NFPA – desirable)
* Quality control, testing, and commissioning
**Functions and Responsibilities**
* Coordinate the execution of electromechanical installations on-site
* Supervise contractors, technical staff, and suppliers
* Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards
* Identify interferences among disciplines (civil works, architecture, installations)
* Participate in coordination and progress meetings
* Prepare physical and technical progress reports
* Validate tests, startups, and system handovers
* Control costs, estimates, and scope of work
* Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
