Senior Quality Engineer

Description

Responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards in electronic components, processes, and systems through the implementation of controls, audits, and corrective actions. Collaborates with production, engineering, and customers to guarantee that products meet technical specifications, industry regulations, and market expectations. Functions * **Design quality systems** based on ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IPC standards, or other applicable frameworks * **Conduct internal audits**, process validations, and root cause analysis for deviations * **Define inspection plans**, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation for electronic assemblies * **Coordinate corrective actions** and preventive measures with cross\-functional teams * **Manage quality indicators** to ensure compliance with objectives and continuous improvement * **Address customer requirements**, including complaints, returns, and external audits from OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers * **Validate production processes** such as soldering, molding, encapsulation, and electrical testing to ensure stability and repeatability * **Train operational staff** on quality topics, inspection techniques, IPC\-A\-610 standards, and best practices Requirements * **Industrial Engineering**, Quality, Mechanical, Materials, Electronics, or related field * **3 to 5 years of experience** in quality within electronic manufacturing environments * **Knowledge of electronic processes** including soldering, PCB assembly, molding, and critical variables in electronics production * **Proficiency in statistical tools** and quality methodologies (SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP) * **Ability to interpret drawings**, circuit diagrams, technical specifications, and customer standards * **ERP management** and data analysis software skills * **Advanced or bilingual English** required for communication with international customers and technical documentation * **Knowledge of IPC\-A\-610** and other electronics\-specific standards is highly desirable Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo Pregunta(s) de postulación: * What is your salary expectation? * ¿Tiene VISA Vigente? * What is your English proficiency level?
