Description
We are seeking a highly skilled **Maintenance Coordinator** to lead and ensure the operational continuity of our glass processing machinery and equipment.
The primary objective of this role is to maximize machinery availability through robust planning of preventive and corrective maintenance, while effectively coordinating the electromechanical team under a continuous improvement and zero-accident approach.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Maintenance Management:** Design, schedule, and supervise the execution of **preventive and corrective maintenance** plans for plant machinery and peripheral equipment.
* **Machinery Availability:** Ensure optimal levels of equipment availability and reliability, minimizing downtime on production lines.
* **Team Leadership:** Efficiently coordinate, supervise, and assign daily work orders to the **electromechanical technicians** team.
* **Failure Analysis:** Conduct root cause analysis of **recurring failures** in machinery to implement permanent corrective actions and **continuous improvement** projects.
* **Inventory Control:** Manage the inventory of **spare parts**, critical components, and maintenance consumables, ensuring adequate stock to prevent extended shutdowns.
* **Metrics and Reporting:** Prepare and present periodic key performance indicator (KPI) reports for the department to management.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
* **Education:** Degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
* **Experience:** Minimum **5 years of experience** in similar roles (Maintenance Coordinator, Supervisor, or Head) within production and manufacturing plants (glass, ceramic, or metalworking industries preferred).
* **Essential Technical Knowledge:**
* Solid knowledge of **Hydraulics and Pneumatics**.
* Advanced interpretation of **electrical and mechanical diagrams**.
* Failure analysis methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa Diagram, FMEA).
* Proficiency with maintenance management software (CMMS / ERP).
**Key Competencies:**
* **Leadership:** Ability to guide, motivate, and develop the technical team on the shop floor.
* **Planning and Organization:** Skill in prioritizing critical tasks and optimizing resources and execution time.
* **Decision-Making:** Timely and effective resolution of complex technical problems under pressure.
* **Effective Communication:** Ability to convey clear instructions to the operations team and report results to management.
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to be evaluated:**
* **Machinery availability (%)** and equipment reliability.
* **MTBF / MTTR** (Mean Time Between Failures / Mean Time To Repair).
* **Preventive maintenance plan compliance (%)**.
* **Spare parts budget and inventory control** (reduction of critical stockouts).
