Opportunity for growth within a stable company. **A transportation/logistics sector company** is seeking a **Mechanical Workshop Administrator** with experience in operational management, administrative control, and coordination of vehicle maintenance. Job Objective Ensure the proper administrative and operational functioning of the mechanical workshop, guaranteeing control over preventive and corrective maintenance, spare parts administration, cost control, and supervision of technical staff. Requirements * Education: Mechanical, Industrial, or Automotive Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a mechanical workshop (preferably for tractor-trailers, heavy-duty vehicles, or fleets). * Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance. * Inventory control and administration of spare parts. * Budget management and cost control. * Experience coordinating technical personnel. * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills. * Familiarity with maintenance management systems (ERP or specialized software) is desirable. Main Responsibilities * Planning and monitoring the vehicle maintenance schedule. * Supervising mechanical staff and assigning tasks. * Managing work orders and repair timelines. * Procurement and inventory control of spare parts and supplies. * Workshop cost control and reporting to management. * Monitoring performance indicators (vehicle availability, downtime, cost per unit). * Coordinating with the operations department to ensure fleet availability.
