Only applications received through this channel will be considered, for internal transparency.)* The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking an **Education Officer** to lead the implementation of the **Safe Schools** program and **School Risk Management Plans (PGIRE)** in high-vulnerability contexts in Michoacán. This role is key to strengthening teacher capacities, coordinating with education authorities, and promoting safe, resilient, and inclusive school environments. **Main responsibilities:** * Facilitate participatory workshops for PGIRE development with teachers, communities, and local authorities. * Design and deliver training on risk management, safe behavior, and inclusive programming. * Coordinate mapping of specialized actors in mental health, protection, and education. * Coordinate actions with educational authorities and community committees. * Monitor PGIRE implementation and document progress, challenges, and good practices. * Support operational planning, budget execution, and technical reporting. * Represent the program in institutional forums and ensure integration of protection, gender, and inclusion approaches. **Profile requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy, Psychology, Social Sciences, Risk Management, or related fields. * Minimum of 4 years of experience in educational projects, risk management, or education in emergencies. * Experience facilitating workshops and developing school plans. * Knowledge of national and international frameworks for school risk management. * Skills in inter-institutional coordination, communication, and community engagement. * Sensitivity to child protection, gender, and inclusion issues. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. **We offer:** * Mexican employment contract for 10 months (project-based), with competitive salary and benefits according to local law. * Flexible and dynamic work environment. * Opportunity to join an international humanitarian organization present in over 35 countries. * Frequent travel (60%) to intervention areas.
