





The Procurement Executive is responsible for preparing, managing, and tracking budgets for supplies, materials, equipment, and services requested by vessels. Their primary function is to ensure that each vessel receives accurate, competitive, and timely quotations, guaranteeing the continuity of maritime operations. Key responsibilities include: * **Receiving and analyzing requests** sent by ships or operational departments, verifying quantities, technical specifications, and delivery times. * **Identifying and contacting reliable suppliers**, comparing prices, quality, and availability. * **Preparing detailed budgets**, ensuring they meet company standards and the operational needs of the vessel. * **Negotiating costs and terms** to obtain the best market options. * **Monitoring and updating quotations**, reporting any changes in prices, availability, or delivery times. * **Timely submission of budgets** to operational coordinators or directly to the vessel, according to established procedures. * **Documentation and record-keeping** of each request, quotation, and issued budget, maintaining order and traceability. * **Addressing and resolving inquiries** related to issued budgets. This role requires precision, organization, quick response capability, and basic knowledge of products and services required by vessels, ranging from general supplies to spare parts and specialized services.
