**Overview:** We are seeking an **Accounting and Tax Manager** to lead the accounting department at **Comercial Chonita**, a Veracruz-based company dedicated to baking, tortilleria, and pizzeria operations, with multiple branches across the state. The position aims to **ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations** for all group operations, as well as **provide reliable financial information** for management decision-making. **Main Responsibilities:** **General Accounting** * Supervise the accounting recording of all company operations and its branches. * Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow). * Review bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. * Coordinate the proper accounting integration within the **Odoo** system. **Tax Management** * Calculate, file, and pay federal and state taxes (Income Tax, VAT, Excise Tax, among others). * Ensure compliance with obligations before the SAT and tax authorities. * Stay updated on tax legislation and propose tax optimization strategies. * Coordinate audits and respond to tax requirements. **Internal and Financial Control** * Design and implement accounting, financial, and administrative policies and procedures. * Generate financial reports for management and evaluate profitability by branch or business line. * Supervise proper cash handling and bank accounts management. * Assist in budget preparation and expense control. **Team Management** * Supervise accounting, billing, and administrative staff. * Promote a culture of organization, compliance, and accountability. * Collaborate with procurement, payroll, and general management departments. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting (certified). * Minimum of **5 years** of experience in general and tax accounting. * Knowledge of **Odoo**, Microsoft Excel, and Mexican tax regulations. * Ability to organize information, establish controls, and meet tax deadlines. * Skills in team leadership and goal-oriented work. * Availability to work **onsite in Peñuela, Veracruz** and visit branches. **We Offer** * Competitive salary based on experience. * Job stability and growth opportunities. * Collaborative work environment with a focus on continuous improvement. * Statutory benefits and internal development programs. **Interested applicants should apply via the following link:** * https://comercial\-chonita.odoo.com/jobs/jefe\-contabilidad\-1 Job type: Full-time Salary: Starting at $17,000\.00 per month Education: * Completed Bachelor's degree (Desirable) Experience: * Tax experience: 3 years (Required) * Public Accounting: 3 years (Required) Workplace: Onsite job
